CAN anyone help with a question I have regarding a patient's records? I was a patient at Castle Peak Mental Hospital. After my treatment was over, I decided to find a new job and start a new life, but I am worried about someone finding out about my period in the hospital. Would it be easy for my new employer to gain access to my personal records and would he be allowed to pass on that information to other people? Is there any law which protects my privacy?
