AFTER battling back to health since being shot during a robbery, Tina Noden now faces a fight for compensation.
After three months in hospital and six months of rehabilitation with her family in England, Ms Noden is back in the territory fighting for the financial help she needs to get her old life back.
Shot in the right leg and abdomen in the Landmark in Central, Ms Noden is eligible for $80,000 government compensation through the Criminal and Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation Board.
But she said yesterday it was not enough to help heal the physical and emotional scars.
'I really think I'm entitled to a lot more after what I've been through,' she said.
'I've only received a little of the money they are going to give me and that was all I've had to live on the entire time I've been away.
