LEGCO rolled up in style - in a Rolls Royce, modelled after the Corniche series. But whatever the vehicle - grand, humble or just plain colourful and fun to be in - everyone had a wonderful time, pedalling away happily at Victoria Park. It was Pedal '95, a 24-hour pedal kart grand prix to raise funds for local charities. Teenagers felt like adults grinning away behind their steering wheels, and adults felt like teens, chuckling to be involved in the jolly event. In the meantime, much money for a good cause was expected to be raised. Legco had come up with the biggest sum in the two previous years. It was a great outdoors happening, starting at 3 pm last Saturday and ending at 3 pm on Sunday. And to add to the good cheer, the weather was great.
