Jade theft

A JEWELLERY salesman had his briefcase, containing jade ornaments and a gold pendant worth $11,000, stolen by a pistol-wielding assailant in Yau Ma Tei yesterday. But the robber failed to get two bags of diamonds worth $1 million which Chan Chi-chung, 24, had tied to his thigh under his trousers.
