JONES Lang Wootton (JLW) stalwart Nigel Raymond says that he will quit as the group's Asia chairman next week in favour of a replacement from the territory.
However, he will remain as Hong Kong managing director.
His right hand man, Michael Mahony, has also declared his intention to leave at the end of April.
Mr Mahony is a Hong Kong and Pacific director and intends to travel in Europe, but is to be retained as a consultant and will return to the territory when required.
Both denied that the relinquishing of some of their top flight responsibilities had anything to do with the recent string of resignations that occurred at JLW Singapore.
Mr Raymond said that his replacement as Asia chairman would be chosen at a meeting of the group's Asia executive committee in Kuala Lumpur next week.
He said that it was likely to be a Hong Kong Chinese.
