TWO police sergeants and a constable appeared in North Kowloon Court yesterday on corruption charges in connection with the protection of vice establishments in Mongkok.
The three were among 102 people - including eight other police officers - who were arrested by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Police sergeants So Man-on, 46, and Lee Tak-ming, 36, are jointly charged with conspiracy to accept advantages.
They allegedly conspired with senior police inspector Lai Kin-keung and vice establishment operators to accept money in return for not taking action against the establishments.
So and police constable Tong Wing-keung, 30, face five other conspiracy charges.
So faces a further three counts of conspiracy and one related to an illegal gambling den.
