JOCKEY Alan Munro left the Sha Tin weighing room yesterday with a spring in his step and the alluring prospect of a lot more winners to come between now and the end of the season.
The English ace, who is a firm favourite with Hong Kong racegoers after two previous stints here, notched a winning double to take his current tally to seven winners.
That's good going as he arrived when riders like Walter Swinburn and Darryll Holland were in full flow - and picking up good mounts was not an easy task.
'I could not be more pleased with the way things have gone today and the way it has been so far,' said Munro.
'When you come at the time I did, a number of top class riders are firmly established with certain stables and getting the right horses is not easy.
'But I was convinced going into today's meeting that, with any luck, I might get two winners and that's the way it has turned out,' said Munro, in line for more good rides over the next three months.
He scored with Basic Instinct (4-1 favourite) in the second event and took the final race with the 5-2 public elect, Equine Supremo.
