SCMP Reporter

SIX Taiwanese fishermen jumped overboard when a fire broke out on their vessel 300 kilometres southwest of Hong Kong yesterday.

  Five crewmen were later picked up by Hong Kong fishing boats but the sixth man remained missing. The Hong Kong Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre was alerted at 8.30 am and a fixed-wing aircraft was sent to the area.
