POSTMAN Pat, official mascot of the Royal Mail of Great Britain, was spotted pounding the streets of Hong Kong last week. The world famous, two metres giant recently emigrated to Hong Kong to take up permanent residency at the restaurant, Harry Ramsden's.
Postman Pat was spotted by many, familiarising himself with his new territory and using all kinds of transportation: tram, rickshaw, ferry, MTR, even walking around Wan Chai, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, accompanied by his best friend Jess, the black and white cat.
Passers-by stopped to stare as Postman Pat passed and hordes of children recognised their TV idol, accompanying him on his rickshaw ride and across the harbour on the Star Ferry.
After his busy afternoon, Postman Pat returned to Harry Ramsden's for a cup of his favourite English tea, a plate of Fish and Chips and to put his feet up before his next guest appearance.
Fans may also request a guest appearance of Postman Pat by booking a Harry Ramsden's children's party.
