A CONSTRUCTION foreman took photographs of his girlfriend's teenage daughter in the nude and tried to coax her into having sex with him.
The 34-year-old man shared a flat with the girl and her mother, who was a prostitute, the District Court heard yesterday.
In August 1993, the girl, then 15, was asleep at home while her mother was at work.
At about midnight, the man crept into the girl's room, carried her into his bedroom and took off her clothes. He then kissed her naked body and convinced her to perform an indecent act on him before sending her back to her bed.
Months passed without incident, then in March last year the teenager was again at home alone with the foreman.
He demanded sex, but she refused, so he fondled her. On April 18, the girl was sleeping at home when he again took her to his bed and stripped her. He took half a dozen photographs of her in the nude.
She refused his demands for sex, but he coerced her into performing a sex act on him. Afterwards he destroyed the film.
