Only Cheung Fong-hay's wife, Ho Fo-ho, survived. The body of his mother, Ho So-mui, was recovered. Cheung is still missing.

Police yesterday called off a 10-hour search involving a Government Flying Service helicopter and four police launches.

Cheung, 37, was reported missing after falling into the sea near Tap Mun in Sai Kung on Saturday morning.

He went fishing with his wife, 36, and mother, 57, at about 8 am, but a sudden storm blew up an hour later and tossed them out of their small boat.

His younger brother Sung-sun, 25, said Cheung was a good swimmer.
