BROOKE Shields has admitted she no longer thinks it's vital to be a virgin bride.
But the former child star, now 30, fights shy of saying whether she and tennis star Andre Agassi are lovers.
Shields made her virginity pledge in a book she wrote more than 10 years ago. And in the US magazine, Details, she said: 'I wrote that in my first year in college. You should read my next book!' Asked if she meant her pledge to be a guideline, not an inviolable rule, she said: 'Well, I do think people should wait - definitely.' Shields said her relationship with Agassi, who is five years younger, is 'very involved'. She went on: 'I have to fight off the 40-year-old women who are after him and the 12-year-olds.' The star of Pretty Baby and Blue Lagoon poses topless in the magazine, with a slice of cream cake and a can of spray cream covering her breasts. 'Taking your clothes off isn't daring, it's easy.'
