Colour TV lifts Konka

SHENZHEN Konka Electronic Group profits for the year to December 31 rose 7.35 per cent from 188 million yuan (about HK$172.39 million) to 201.8 million yuan.

Turnover increased 11.3 per cent to 2.4 billion yuan.

The company will hold a meeting on April 28 to discuss a dividend.

It said the domestic market share of for colour TVs, the group's leading product, had increased from 4.39 per cent to 5.98 per cent. It also expected growing sales volume for traditional home appliances this year.
