THE documentary programmer, The Discovery Channel, has begun filming the Asian portion of its Global Image Campaign to celebrate the channel's 10th anniversary in June.

  Philippines President Fidel Ramos volunteered to be one of nine Asian celebrities in the campaign. He praised the channel, saying it was 'educational and informative television of as much value to a businessman or statesman as to a farmer or fisherman'.
