A BARTENDER who tried to impress potential business partners by pretending to be rich landed in the dock yesterday for exceeding his credit-card limit.
Kwok Yau-sin, 34, admitted 35 sample counts of procuring false bank records.
In early 1987, the District Court heard, Kwok used the card to live lavishly in China, spending almost $77,000.
Deputy Judge Lau took into account the fact Kwok had spent 13 months in custody to impose a sentence which allows him to be freed immediately.
