WHEN I first arrived in Hong Kong a little more than a year ago after spending the previous five years in Tokyo, I was struck by the intensity of the hustle and bustle of this round-the-clock city. The fast pace and demands of city life creep up and slowly take their toll.

Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when I turned on my radio to RTHK Radio 3, and heard the relaxing tunes of American Country Western music.

Today's Country, featuring Anders Nelsson and David Curtis, is well programmed and an enjoyment to listen to. It features the newest country hits as well as the best of the Country Western oldies. I would like to commend Today's Country for bringing a little bit of relaxing American Country Western music to the hectic city life of Hong Kong! I hope they continue to serve the Country Western music lovers in Hong Kong for a long time to come.
