The 35-year-old footballer faces charges of criminal damage.
He was seized by police on Saturday afternoon after magistrate Hugh Sinclair issued a warrant for his arrest.
It was the second time that Leonard had failed to appear in court.
Yesterday at Eastern Court defence lawyer Hugh Boa said there had been a misunderstanding over the trial date.

Magistrate Mr Yung Yiu-wing restored Leonard's bail and cancelled the warrant. A new trial date was fixed for May 16.
