A BRAWL broke out on the set of the comedy film Stupid Detective during which a gang of extras chased other extras with choppers, the District Court heard yesterday. An argument broke out during a break in shooting at the Sea Dragon Restaurant in Wong Tai Sin on March 15 last year. When shooting finished at 4 am extras Cheung Chun-keung and Cheung Kwong-wing left the restaurant. But as they stepped outside, a gang of youths attacked them with choppers, fists and feet, Judge Chua heard. Mr Cheung suffered cuts to the forehead and back while another extra Chan Hin-nang was injured around his eyes and lips. Ip Wai-On, 22, Tsang Hing-fai, 17, Hung Lui-lok, 16, Choy Kwok-wah, 21, and Leung Kwan-ho, 20, pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent. Prosecutor Eric Kwok said all five had admitted the attack and being members of a triad society. The trial continues.
