MEMBERS of Chung Ying Theatre Company are busy rehearsing 'Studio Shorts '95', a programme of three short plays.
The troupe has been organising 'Studio Shorts' since 1990 to encourage originality and creativity among members and local artists.
Programme One presents The Dong Dum Woman , directed by Lo Wa-luk and adapted from Bertolt Brecht's The Good Person of Szechuan .
The play tells the story of a kind-hearted woman, who encounters all kinds of frustrations in her work and private life.
To save herself from the troubles and continue to carry out the good deeds, she invents a ruthless cousin.
Programme Two comprises two original plays. Strangers in Paradise is a musical about three writers who end their own lives with suicide.
