VISITORS to the Hong Kong Space Museum should note a temporary re-scheduling of films being screened at the Space Theatre, beginning today. The schedule was changed so that the museum can start preparing the theatre for a grand new sky show, titled Voyage to the Galaxy. During this period, till May 15, there will be no screenings of sky shows. In the meantime, the Omnimax film Africa: The Serengeti will be screened at 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm daily. On Saturdays, there will be eight screenings, the first show starting at 1.30 pm, and on Sundays 10 screenings, starting at 11.30 am. The museum is closed on Tuesdays. The Hall of Astronomy and Hall of Space Science will remain open as usual. The new sky show, Voyage to the Galaxy , opens on May 17, when screening times at the theatre will resume normal hours.
