IN London, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising has won two morale-boosting accounts, while it sweats on a vital decision by British Airways.
The Kingfisher retail group will move the Comet electrical account alongside the B & Q and Woolworth accounts already handled by the agency.
All three accounts rank in the British top 10. Kingfisher is Britain's fourth-largest advertiser with a recorded adspend last year of GBP76 million (about HK$950 million) and the agency's largest British client.
The change was made possible by the departure of rival electrical chain, Dixon's, which, together with Gallaher and Mirror Group Newspapers, has transferred allegiance to Maurice Saatchi's new shop. New Saatchi is also in the running for the GBP80 million BA account.
