ONCE again, the territory's two television stations are trapped in another Judge Pao ratings battle.
TVB has just started showing its own Judge Pao series, soon to be followed by ATV's.
Once again, local audiences will be left without much choice; they will be treated to similar entertainment on both stations during their weekday evenings.
However, I am not just concerned about this lack of choice. There is another matter which I would like to raise. I had been following a Taiwanese drama series for the past couple of weeks from 7.20 to 8.20pm on ATV Home.
It was not a particularly good series, but because of its showing time, I and my family always watched it while we were having our supper. Anxious about the drama's development, we usually watched it till the end each night.
But because of the Judge Pao battle, ATV has made an abrupt change to the showing time of the series, moving it from the prime time slot to early afternoon, which means a working person like me would not have a chance to watch it anymore.
