A FISHERMAN yesterday admitted raping a teenager just metres from her friends after luring her to a male toilet at a beach resort in the early hours of the morning. Shek Chi-wai, 22, subjected the screaming girl to the ordeal after shoving her into a cubicle. The girl, 17 at the time, was having a drink with three friends at a Sai Kung barbecue pit near the Beach Resort Hotel when a group of youths sat down at the next table and started chatting. Shek then told the girl he wanted to show her something, the High Court heard. Prosecutor Laura Millar said it was only when they got to the toilet that the girl realised she had been tricked. But when she tried to leave, Shek barred the doorway and pushed her into a cubicle. He slammed down the toilet cover, forced her to sit down and undid her trousers as she struggled and shouted. Ms Millar said: 'She protested vigorously and cried, but he ignored her cries and pleas. He proceeded to have sexual intercourse with her against her will. 'He left her partially dressed and sobbing in the toilets where she was discovered by her three friends.' Shek admitted raping the girl on October 12 last year but denied a second count of indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl on the same day in the same toilet. The Crown accepted the pleas. Mr Justice Leong adjourned sentencing until May 19 after Shek's counsel, Joe Kenny, asked for background reports.
