FUN and fund-raising were the order of the day - over at King George V School (KGV) where the shool held a giant fun fair recently.

'One of the main aims of this year's spring fair was to raise money to buy equipment for the students,' said school principal Michael Behennah.

To judge by the wide smiles on every face, and the laughter and screams of joy heard around the playground, it was obvious the guests were having a great time.

About 50 stalls of various kinds were set up on the school campus in Tin Kwong Road, Kowloon. Tucked in among the fun events were some useful educational items.

'We had educational stalls and teams giving useful information, like the Robocop Crime Prevention group which handed out anti-crime tips and advice,' the principal said.

The students were hard at work to make everything ran smoothly, but they also made sure they had a good time.

'We are so excited about the event, and happy to be helping in any way to make money for the school,' said student Vicky Mirwani, 13.
