PACIFIC Concord Holdings saw profit attributable to shareholders rise 2.1 per cent to $354 million, boosted by exceptionals. Earnings per share slid eight per cent to 18.86 cents with dividends flat at 4.58 per share in total. Exceptional items lifted about $100 million to $252.6 million, made up mostly of sales of interests in China and Hong Kong projects. Operating profit on continuing businesses slid 40.8 per cent to $117.9 million. Turnover slid 9.9 per cent to $1.16 billion, including turnover on continuing businesses which rose 9.8 per cent to $863 million.
