THE Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) is opening a branch office in Brazil's largest city, Sao Paulo.

  Council chairman Victor Fung will attend the opening ceremony in Brazil on May 29.

   The centre will provide Brazilian companies with contacts, information and advice on buying from Hong Kong and selling to the Asia-Pacific region.

  The addition of Sao Paulo extends the council's global network to 47 overseas offices, five of them in Central and South America.
