New crossing

I REFER to Mr Kenrick Cheuk's letter headlined, 'Lights plea', which appeared in the South China Morning Post, on May 13.

We have requested the Highways Department to install a staggered pedestrian crossing across Po Pong Village Road at the location referred to in Mr Cheuk's letter. It is expected that the works will be completed by the end of this year. We thank Mr Cheuk for his suggestion.
