TWO workers who fell unconscious after inhaling toxic gas in Shamshuipo were in a critical condition in hospital last night.

  The gas, hydrogen sulphide, was detected as the workers replaced sewage pipes at the junction of Tong Yam Street and Tai Hang Tung Road.

   A senior engineer from the Drainage Service Department said they 'might have been careless'.
