A commitment to creating value for its customers has driven innovation at Brancotex Industrias Quimicas, an active member of Brazil's vibrant chemicals industry. A fully Brazilian-owned company, Brancotex produces resins, adhesives, emulsions and additives for the Brazilian and Latin American markets.

"Our mission is to develop innovative products by working closely with our clients," says Jairo Peixeiro Jnr, co-founder and director of Brancotex.

Chemists by profession, Peixeiro and business partner Adam Cheli began their enterprise with innovations of chemicals for the textile industry. Exploring various mixtures of acrylic emulsions, they have succeeded in creating new industrial chemicals that have broad applications.

Among Brancotex's specialisations are adhesives for paper products such as bindings and labels, acrylic emulsions and pigments for road markers and various additives used in the textile, leather, coating, furniture and construction industries. Its most popular brand is Brancocryl.

Brancotex has been developing products that meet the specific demands of its customers for more than 40 years. Up to 4 per cent of total revenue is reinvested into research and development. It has a dedicated team for product development led by the company founders. Its sales team keeps abreast of clients' needs through consistent aftermarket service.

Continuing to satisfy its clientele, Brancotex has invested in new equipment geared to doubling production capacity.
