CATHAY Pacific pilot Warwick Guy flew into the lead in the Carlsberg Golf Classic with the day's best score of 73. The flyer was chased by Thomas Hellman who carded a 74 in yesterday's Fanling competition.

  Scotsman Dave Gresham took the honours in the handicap strokeplay competition with a net 67, playing off nine, closely followed by Simon Neve on 68 and Jeffrey Harper with a 69.

  The men's stableford competition was taken by Park Chul-wan with 43 points while in the ladies' event, Lee Sung-ok took the honours with 36 points.
