ROCKWELL Telecommunications has unveiled its extended FAXENGINE (XFE) facsimile modem.
According to Rockwell, the XFE modem integrates all the control functions of a combined facsimile, digital answering machine and full duplex speakerphone in a two-device set.
'Full featured telephony and plain paper capabilities are just two new market requirements that our XFE products address,' said Rickwell product line manager Didier Boivin.
'With this new generation of FAXENGINE devices, Rockwell allows OEMs to easily and cost-effectively migrate their product offerings from low-cost thermal fax machines to high-end, full-featured fax solutions.' Rockwell is a diversified, high-technology company holding leadership positions in automation, avionics, aerospace, defence electronics, telecommunications, automotive components and graphic systems.
The company has annual worldwide sales of US$12 billion.
