WE were robbed one night earlier this month.
An intruder woke up our maid, threatened her with his fist and forced her to hand over $1,800.
He then left the same way he came, through the maid's bathroom window. The police have no clue to who did it.
We live in Clearwater Bay, and there are no security guards that can keep an eye on our house, and there is no security post or any closed gate, it's easy to walk up to our house from the street. Since we pay $4,411 a month in management fee, I have asked the landlord Sino Land Co Ltd, to improve the security many times since we moved in last October. I have never had a reply.
I told them that our front-door has been broken since we moved in, and a simple push would open it, even if it's locked; no reply. I have told them that our kitchen window cannot be closed; no reply.
What do we as residents have to do or what has to happen to us, before security is improved? We have a four-month-old baby and security is therefore very important.
