A FATHER accused of murdering his two baby sons appeared in South Kowloon Court yesterday.

Cheng Che-chiu, 25, is also accused of wounding social worker Wong Wai-sheung, 35, on April 18.
The murder of Hei-shun, aged one, and one-month-old Hei-lok is alleged to have taken place between April 17 and April 19 in Yau Ma Tei.
Magistrate Michael Hill ordered Cheng to be held in the custodial ward of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
Defence counsel Chung Boey said it was an appropriate place for Cheng to be held.

The magistrate granted an application by prosecutor Enid Chow for the hearing to be adjourned until August 2.
