It has called in Pep Bou, who makes 'square' bubbles as well as castle and mountain bubbles in his Bufaplanetes show.

The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, making its first appearance in the carnival, will kick off the festival with the Chinese Music Fantasia.

Fantasia will bring audiences the music of bees, dragonflies and butterflies, interspersed with chicken and duck talk as well as percussion pieces portraying how tigers sharpen their teeth.

Wondering where the carnival's regular star Harry Goh Goh has gone? He will be telling stories to accompany the extraordinary music.
