VOLATILE Bulgarian defender Dimitri Kalkanov is still undecided as to whether or not he will stay with Uhlsport-Rangers for another season. Kalkanov has returned to Bulgaria and will inform the club by telephone next week of his plans. The former Bulgarian youth international, who last played in the Malaysian semi-professional league for Selangor, will miss Rangers' opening three matches for his two red-card offences picked up towards the end of the season. 'If Kalkanov decides to leave us then we will be forced to look for another central defender,' Rangers' team manager Philip Lee Fai-lap said. Kalkanov was fortunate to have played in the San Miguel FA Cup final against Eastern earlier this month as his case was not heard by the disciplinary committee until earlier this week. Kalkanov scored one goal in Rangers' 3-0 defeat of Eastern, who were reduced to 10 men after defender Lee Wai-wo was sent off near the end of the first half.
