Parc Regal draws buyers

WHEELOCK Properties has seen a respectable response to the private sale of 32 flats at its luxury Parc Regal development at Ho Man Tin Hill Road in central Kowloon.

Although the developer did not reveal the number of units sold, estate agents said buyers' response was good, especially for upper-floor units.

The average price for smaller units, measuring 853 square feet, was about $6,800 per sq ft.

Bigger units measuring about 1,000 sq ft were offered for sale with a car-parking space each at about $7,600 per sq ft. Buyers are allowed to combine two units into one bigger flat.

Daniel Chang, assistant sales manager at the Waterloo Road branch of Midland Realty, said car parking was in demand at Ho Man Tin Hill Road, and the value of a good quality parking lot could be as much as $800,000.

Excluding the car park value, the offer price for the bigger units of Parc Regal was about the same as that for the smaller units, at $6,800 per sq ft, he said.
