BERJAYA Holdings (HK) is back in the black with an attributable profit of $11.21 million for the year to April 30, up from a loss of $17.72 million.

The result was boosted by a $14.05 exceptional gain, which contrasted with an $11.35 million exceptional loss in the previous period, which was 13 months.
The company said turnover rose to $8.51 million from $8.04 million.
Earnings per share were 2.28 cents, from negative earnings of 3.6 cents a share previously, it said.
It was not recommending a dividend. No dividend was paid in the previous period either.
