LEADING application software company, Dun & Bradstreet Software, has announced plans to significantly expand its Hong Kong direct marketing and distribution activities.
Under the new plan D&B Software will assume more of the sales, marketing and distribution operations with increased focus on the growing client/server market.
The company will end its relationship with COL Limited in the mainframe and client/server distribution and maintenance areas.
As part of a transition plan, COL will continue to provide maintenance for D&B Software's mainframe installations until the end of the year.
D&B Software set up a new Hong Kong office earlier this year as parts of its expansion drive and appointed several key managers.
In line with this new thrust, the company will be looking to develop new distribution and service channels in Hong Kong with new partners in niche markets.
'COL's efforts on our behalf were important towards our development of the Hong Kong market, and we appreciate their contributions to our success,' said Aivars Lode, director, D&B Software.
