I READ with interest the article in the Sunday Morning Post, on July 30, by Kevin Sinclair, headlined, 'Camp veterans put Japan in the dock.' It occurs to me that there could be many British civilians who were interned in various Far Eastern countries and might be interested in our association (Association of British Civilian Internees - Far East Region, ABCIFER) and its efforts to obtain redress from the Japanese Government for acts of the Imperial Japanese Army against them during the period 1941-45.
