JUNIOR champions Jackie Lee Chun-kit and Rebecca Chiu Wing-yin stayed on course for their third straight under-19 crowns in the Fujifilm Hong Kong Junior Open with easy victories yesterday.

Lee trounced Malaysian Ricky Lee 9-3, 9-4, 9-3 in the boys' quarter-finals to go through three matches without dropping a game.

However, the 18-year-old reigning Asian junior champion will be tested today by Pakistan's surprise semi-finalist Zubar Khan.

Zubar, a promising 15-year-old who also made the under-16 semi-finals, showed his potential with a 9-0, 9-1, 9-0 demolition of Japan's Takayuki Uesugi.

Second seed Wong Wai-hang and fellow-Hong Kong junior international Yan Tsz-keung filled the other two semi-final berths.
