A THREE-DAY charity adventure boat trip had to be cut short after essential equipment was stolen. The 30-metre junk Huan is operated by the Community Chest member agency, Adventure Ship. Captain Ho Shu-ming realised two outboard engines and some cooking equipment were missing yesterday when he boarded the boat in Aberdeen typhoon shelter. He said the three-day trip to Tung Peng Chau which more than 40 sea scouts had been awaiting for a year almost had to be cancelled. Now they plan to go ahead with the trip today by cutting it to two days and visiting Sai Kung.
