CITYBUS is ready to take control of 14 routes from China Motor Bus from next Friday. The first comprehensive schedule released by the company shows that fares for the 14 routes, three of which are non-air-conditioned, range from $3.20 to $13, with waiting time ranging from 10 to 20 minutes. The routes will operate seven days a week apart from No 37 running between Chi Fu and Central, No 99 between South Horizons and Sai Wan Ho and No 511 between Jardine's Lookout and Central. Assistant marketing and development manager Stuart Dobie said that Citybus had already trained all the drivers recruited for the new venture. The company, which has pledged a more punctual service for the public through the South China Morning Post, has also re-scheduled timetables for the bus journeys that it thinks were 'unrealistic'.
