XEROX last week launched its 3006 multi-functional desktop product in Hong Kong.
The compact machine captures four independent technologies - faxing, printing, copying and scanning.
Kitty Kelly, marketing manager of Rank Xerox (Hong Kong), said the machine offered increased productivity in a compact design.
The 3006 is aimed at individual users and small work groups of four to eight people, and small businesses.
'The 3006 will also help the individual or office user when the fact of space is taken into consideration. It is ideal for a market like Hong Kong with its big floor space problems,' Ms Kelly said.
This machine provides dual access to work groups. A user connected to a personal computer can print a document while another user in the work group is sending an outbound fax. Or one can scan a document to memory while printing or sending an outbound fax message.
