Discovery Reports
Aiming to achieve one of the world's best safety records, Singapore implements stringent health and safety regulations in the workplace. It seeks to bring down the national fatality rate to less than 1.8 per 100,000 workers by 2018. Sharing the Singaporean government's vision of cultivating sustainable work environments, R K Instruments provides gas detection systems that prevent workers' exposure to hazardous conditions.
R K Instruments functions as a joint-venture regional office of Japan-based Riken Keiki. The company distributes and services personal, portable and fixed gas detectors to the marine, oil and gas and semiconductor industries in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. It also serves the commercial requirements of institutions, laboratories and environment organisations like Singapore's National Environment Agency (NEA).
The gas detection systems of Riken Keiki are calibrated to sense different types of gases, particularly combustible fumes, and to determine oxygen level safety. All Riken Keiki products are manufactured in Japan to maintain high quality.
"There is no compromising the quality of our products because there is no compromising safety. We take into serious consideration our role in preventing accidents and loss of life," says Bernard Quek, R K Instruments managing director.
Aside from gas detection systems, R K Instruments also provides consultation services. R K Instruments works closely with clients to determine the right equipment for specific requirements. The company can also assist in developing gas detection systems for new applications.
R K Instruments' focus on providing the best service to clients has earned the trust of an impressive base of 500 to 600 companies across different industries.
