I REFER to Virginia Cattell's letter headlined, 'Smoking laws ineffectual', which appeared in the South China Morning Post, on August 29.

She was referring to the problem of smokers on ferries, but the problem also exists at TV game centres.
Many TV games centres have 'No Smoking' signs at the entrance to the centres, but many people smoke regardless and consequently help pollute the environment.
People go to TV game centres so they can enjoy the games.
Why should they have to put up with this second-hand smoke? What is even worse, is that most of the owners of the TV game centres also smoke.

Their behaviour sets a bad example.
