LOLA Maradona, the younger brother of Argentinian star Diego, is top of First Division side Happy Valley's shopping list, writes Jessie Hui.
The 28-year-old Lola is playing for Canadian League side The Italians on a non-contract basis where he featured in midfield with Valley's newest recruit, Beijing-born South Korean left-winger Jin Ri.
Valley chairman Martin Hong Po-kui said yesterday that the club would not have to pay a transfer fee for Lola, but the salary demands would definitely be one of the highest among Valley's foreign contingent.
'Jin told me Lola is a very good midfielder and they have been partners for a season,' said Hong.
'I think Jin is one of our best players. Jin said Lola was better than him so I believe Lola will be a great help to us.'
