LIQUID crystal display (LCD) manufacturer Varitronix International has reported profit attributable to shareholders of $106.44 million for the six months to June, up 36.33 per cent over previous results.

  Turnover jumped 47.83 per cent to $328.61 million from $222.28 million. Earnings per share leapt to 39.8 cents from 30.11 cents.

  Directors recommended an interim dividend of 9.5 cents per share, up from 7.2 cents per share.
