Basin Bulk net soars

PACIFIC Basin Bulk Shipping has reported a 238 per cent increase in attributable profit for the year to June 30 to $11.08 million from $3.28 million.

Operating profit increased 128 per cent to $20.18 million from $8.84 million, on revenues 23.5 per cent higher at $72.52 million.

Earnings per share were 93 cents, against 42 cents previously.

A final dividend of 12.25 cents will be paid, making a total of 49 cents for the year.
