THROUGHPUT at HACTL jumped 14.6 per cent to 886,633 tonnes during the first eight months of the year.

Last month's figures showed exports improving 7.9 per cent to 59,253 tonnes, imports rising 13 per cent to 44,215 tonnes and transshipments climbing 7.9 per cent to 14,567 tonnes. The total throughput was 118,035 tonnes.
