A MOTOR dealer took part in a plot to forge documents so that his company's tractors would seem newer and could be sold at a higher price. Tong Kim-piu, 30, was fined $135,000 after pleading guilty to conspiracy with a third person to utter forged documents to the Hong Kong Transport Department between September 1, 1991, to September 1, 1992. His father, Tong Hiu-ming, 56, faced a similar charge but was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
